Court Square Diner has been serving the Long Island City area since 1946. Since then it has only had three ownerships. The current owners, Steve and Nick have been in operation since 1991. In 2009, the Court Square Diner was renovated with an all new retro look.
The delivery service is 24 hours a day seven days a week. All the baking for the diner is done on the premises. A secret of the success for the Court Square Diner is that our chef changes the special of the day daily, from soups and vegetables to the main dishes.
The Court Square Diner loves to give back to the community. We believe that by helping the community it will make the Long Island City area more desirable for people to visit and live. As, seen below this is one of many donations that we give to help the community.
“In 2011, the first year of the festival, the Court Square diner gave us the biggest donation… the reason that it was explained to me; when this area was bleak the artists were the best supporters of the diner.”
— Richard Mazda, LIC Arts Open Executive Director.
